Daily Card – Two of Swords

The two of swords is another card that I find challenging. It’s part of the suit of swords, which talks about the mind and the intellect.

Let’s examine the card

Two of Swords - what are you procrastinating about? Just make a decision already.A woman sits on a rock facing into the card. She is blindfolded and holds two swords crossed in front of her. The sword points point toward each path which is before her.

She is naked except for a red cloak draped over one shoulder.

She faces a decision between two paths. There is no difference between the paths. They are both well lit and well travelled.

The paths are in a forest and head in different directions.

She’s unsure of which one to take. They both look like good choices.

What does it mean?

Two is all about balance and weighing up of things. Swords represents air and the intellect.

The woman has a choice between two paths and is weighing up which one she should take. But she’s blindfolded. How can she make an informed decision when she can’t see the choices?

Perhaps she is trying to delay making a decision.

It’s time to stop procrastinating and make a decision. You already have all the information you need to make a good choice.
