Each day I’ve been working with a Tarot card to discover it’s meaning and what it teaches me. I’m currently working my way through The Alternative Tarot Course by Beth at Little Red Tarot. The deck I’m using is The Druidcraft Tarot (affiliate link).
The Wheel is number ten of the Major Arcana. Ten is the number of completion. This card has a beach scene. The ocean is in the background. In the foreground is a rock cave. In front of the cave a woman draws a circle in the sand with a stick. She holds a wheel pendant with eight spokes, representing the Wheel of the Year and the Eight Festivals.
Nothing ever stands still. There is always movement, always change.
Our lives are like that, always changing. A situation never lasts long.
Each moment passes by as the great wheel turns. There is a time and season for everything.
Things end and start, people come and go. To remain static is to die.
The Wheel reminds us that our lives have a rhythm. Things move forward, whether we want them to or not.
We can not remain young forever.
Realign yourself with the rhythm of life, of nature. Enjoy the journey. This is an end of a cycle, and a beginning of a new one. The time in between.
Breath. And enjoy it.
